This policy explains how Tiny Plant Lab, operated by an independent developer based in Chile (“Tiny Plant Lab,” “we,” or “us”), handles information when you use the Tiny Plant Lab mobile application, website, and related services.
1. Overview
Tiny Plant Lab is designed to work without creating an account. The current version stores normal game progress and preferences locally on your device. We do not currently operate a player-account database, multiplayer service, or cloud-save backend.
2. Information we handle
Game data stored on your device
Your garden progress, inventory, discoveries, settings, language, daily streak, and similar gameplay information are stored locally on your device. This data is not automatically uploaded to a Tiny Plant Lab server. Removing the app or clearing its storage may permanently remove this progress.
Usage and diagnostic information
When analytics are enabled in a published version, we may collect limited technical and gameplay events, such as app sessions, screen views, interactions, device or operating-system information, approximate region, crash information, and performance data. We use this information to understand whether the game works correctly and which features need improvement.
Advertising information
Tiny Plant Lab uses Google AdMob to display optional rewarded advertisements and interstitial advertisements at natural breaks. Depending on your region, choices, device settings, and the ad configuration, advertising providers may process device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics, and similar data to deliver, measure, limit, or personalize ads. Where required, the app requests consent or offers privacy choices before personalized advertising. Rewarded advertisements are optional and only grant the displayed in-game benefit after the advertising service confirms completion.
Messages you send us
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, screenshots, device details, and troubleshooting information. We use it only to answer your request and improve support.
3. Why we use information
- Provide and maintain the game and website.
- Save settings and gameplay progress on your device.
- Diagnose crashes, bugs, and performance problems.
- Understand aggregate feature usage and improve game balance.
- Provide, measure, and protect advertising where enabled.
- Answer support, privacy, and legal requests.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
4. Service providers
Depending on the released version and your platform, Tiny Plant Lab may use:
- Google Analytics for aggregate usage measurement and diagnostics.
- Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform for advertising, ad measurement, consent collection, and privacy options.
- Apple App Store and Google Play for distribution, payments, store analytics, and platform services.
- Hosting and domain providers to deliver tinyplantlab.com.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell personal information.
5. Retention and security
Local game data remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the app. Support correspondence is retained only as reasonably necessary to answer requests, maintain records, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Analytics and advertising providers apply their own retention periods. We use reasonable safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
You may be able to limit analytics or personalized advertising through in-app privacy controls and your iOS or Android settings. You can erase local gameplay information by using an in-app reset option, clearing app storage, or uninstalling the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing.
To make a privacy request, email privacy@tinyplantlab.com. Because the current app has no account system, we may have no server-side player record to identify or delete.
7. International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Their privacy frameworks and safeguards apply to those transfers.
8. Children’s privacy
Tiny Plant Lab is a general-audience game and is not directed specifically to children under 13. We do not knowingly request names, account profiles, precise location, or other direct personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the game evolves, including when cloud saves, accounts, analytics, advertising, or other services change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
